Overview
Privacy is a serious consideration for all Australian businesses. For Australian corporate entities, compliance with the Privacy Act is mandatory. There are significant penalties for breaches of the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) (Privacy Act) which increased under reforms in 2022.[1] The Office of the Information Commissioner (OAIC) also has the power to obtain enforceable undertakings (such as apologies, engage in privacy training and other redress), injunctions and to undertake investigations of companies.
The course consists of six modules, including one module specific to Baiada Poultry. Completion of the entire course will take approximately 45 minutes.
